Some recent publications

29 Jul

I thought I’d share a little bit of what I’ve done recently.

Right now, I pretty much live and breathe sports. (I guess it’s a good thing I like sports so much–golf, which I used to think was the most boring thing ever, included!)

Here are some links to some recent fun stories I’ve done for my “day job”:

“Saying ‘I do’ at Talladega: Couples tie the knot at racetrack”

“50 things Alabama fans can do while waiting for 2015 football season to start”

“Live updates from USA’s 5-2 rout of Japan in FIFA Women’s World Cup”

(this, amazingly, got around a million–yep, MILLION–views; how cool is it when your writing connects people from around the world?)

“Elena Myers breaks motorcycle stereotypes on and off her bike”

“10 things you didn’t know about World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder”

Check out links to all of my work as a sportswriter HERE.

I’m back…I think?

What is it about being a writer…that it’s tough sometimes to write?

I’m busy with my regular day job of writing about sports in the Southeast, which has kept me from this website and some of my other. more personal writing.

But I shall return.

With new fun stuff and features.

So, stay tuned.
